Who is your favorite historical figure
Well, ya wanted my favorite “Historical” figure, ya didn’t say “Fictional or Non Fictional” so my Choice is “Ragnar Lothbrok! The Infamous Viking Brother, Son, and Father famous for setting Viking Feet on English Soil somewhere between 801-900 AD. The Viking Chieftain would go on to become the First Duke of Normandy in France, and was no Relation to “Rollo” as portrayed in the TV Show on History Channel.
Tough Wife too! “Lagertha” nearly killed
Him, when Ragnar 1st proposed to Lagertha, she turned him away and expected him to be eaten by the Bear & Hound that guarded her home. But Ragnar being the Accomplished Warrior he was, Killed BOTH the Beasts and presented the bodies to Lagertha.
Lagertha, impressed of Ragnar prowess agreed to marry him!
